How we handle data collected through this site, and the terms that apply when you use it. Last updated September 2026.
This policy covers dpdpuntangled.com itself — the forms, cookies and analytics on this website. It's separate from how truConsent's platform processes data on behalf of our clients, which is governed by each client's own privacy notice.
When you submit the consultation form, we collect your name, email address and company name so we can route you to the right person and schedule a call. When you use the free tools or download a resource, we collect whatever that form asks for — nothing more. We also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, referring source, approximate location from IP, device/browser type) through Google Analytics and Apollo's website visitor tracker, and, if you arrived from one of our ads, conversion data through Google Ads and/or the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure whether that ad led to an enquiry.
Consultation and contact-form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and schedule the call you requested — nothing is added to a marketing list without a separate, explicit opt-in. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and where the site needs work; we don't use it to build individual profiles.
Scheduling data (name, email, company) is shared with Apollo.io, our meeting-scheduling provider, solely to run the booking flow. Apollo also operates the separate website visitor tracker mentioned above, under the same vendor relationship. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics and Apollo, and ad-conversion data by Google Ads and Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram), under each provider's standard data-processing terms. We don't sell personal data. Google Ads conversion data is used solely to measure our own ad performance. Meta Pixel data is subject to Meta's own platform-wide use of advertiser data unless we separately restrict this (see below) — we don't ourselves share data with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
We use two categories of cookies. Essential — required for the site to function (remembering your cookie choice itself, and a session-level flag if you interact with the booking panel) — are always on and can't be switched off, since the site can't work without them. Analytics & ad measurement (Google Analytics, Apollo's website visitor tracker, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta Pixel) — none of these load until you accept in the cookie banner shown on your first visit (Google's Analytics/Ads tags run in a privacy-safe, cookieless mode by default via Google's Consent Mode until then; Apollo's tracker and the Meta Pixel do not load at all until then). We use this solely to measure our own site traffic and whether our own ads led to an enquiry, and we don't run our own retargeting campaigns. The Meta Pixel is, by its nature, a cross-site measurement technology operated by Meta — accepting the cookie banner allows it to run on this site.
You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
If you're in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to access, correct, and request erasure of personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below — we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and no later than any statutory deadline that applies.
Consultation-form submissions are retained for as long as needed to progress the enquiry, and deleted or anonymised after a reasonable period of inactivity if no engagement follows. Analytics and ad-conversion data follow Google Analytics', Apollo's, Google Ads', and Meta's standard retention settings, respectively.
The content on dpdpuntangled.com — articles, guides, the readiness assessment, downloadable templates — is provided for general informational purposes. It reflects our understanding of the DPDP Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025 as of the date published, but it isn't legal advice, and reading it doesn't create an advisory relationship between you and us. For a specific compliance decision, talk to us directly or to your own counsel.
We keep this content current as the Rules evolve and correct errors when we find them, but regulatory guidance changes — verify anything time-sensitive (deadlines, penalty amounts, provision numbers) against the primary source before relying on it for a filing or compliance decision.

Booking a consultation routes through Apollo.io's scheduling widget, which operates under its own terms and privacy policy. We're not responsible for how third-party tools linked from this site handle your data beyond what's disclosed above.
We may update this page as the site, our tooling, or the regulatory landscape changes. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above.
